| | |  Pupils board Hogwarts Express for Half-Blood Prince filming
100 pupils, mostly 17 years of age, from Lochaber High School in Fort William, Scotland, participated in filming for Half-Blood Prince last weekend. The shooting took place at Spean Bridge station where the train was made up to "simulate a covering of morning dew". Filming was done from a helicopter by the crew as it travelled along the West Highland Line to bleak Rannoch Moor. Shooting is also taking place in Glencoe, Glenfinnan and Glenspean (Scotland) to ensure continuity.
Filming has also been taking place at Loch Arkaig, presumably for the cave scenes. Cameramen worked from above and in boats, for "computer-enhanced" sequences.
The sixth film is due to be released Nov. 21st 2008. | |
