Pottermore blog explains Slytherin & Hufflepuff House crest designs for site In addition to the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw design tutorials released, Pottermore's Insider blog now published how they created the Hufflepuff and Slytherin Hogwarts House Crests for J.K. Rowling's interactive Harry Potter site. That can be seen and read below. The Hufflepuff crest was finished with a strong vibrant yellow and patterned leaves to symbolise the earth element. The badger looks as if it is already hard at work, with its stance showing that it’s ready for action. (A piece of trivia to note: the head of the Atomhawk Design team was sorted into Hufflepuff on Pottermore and says he is very proud of his crest!). Hufflepuff sketch series Slytherin sketch series |

Awesome! Slytherin crest is perfect! |
I still don't get why Slytherin is the only one facing left though  |
That is some pretty awesome stuff to learn the Behind-The-Scenes of the making of the crests on Pottermore Quote:

I'm in Slytherin and I'm so proud of our crest! ^_^ This information about how they came about is really interesting |
The crests are so cool. :xd: I am still upset that I can't get on though. :( It's nearing the end of October, it should be open soon. I am also glad that for the Slytherin crest they didn't use any of the three because I didn't like the all green. |
There really nice crests! ^_^ |
Cool! |
Eeeep! They're all so adorable! :x3: |
....badgerforlife... how cutee they are! |

They look so pretty! I kinda wish I was in Slytherin right now... :D (Then again, my house has been competing with Slytherin for first place for far too long.) |
They both look so cool. But I lie with The Hufflepupff's on this one |
I'm a Hufflepuff through and through :) Is it just me or does the third design of Hufflepuff's crests scare you? Eh, oh well. The one we ended up with is adorable! ^_^ |

The Slytherin house crest is really beautiful! *beams with house pride* I'm still depressed about being unable to participate in the quizzes that determined the Pottermore beta users. We don't even know when Pottermore will be available for everybody ;-; |

I was waiting for the Slytherin crest. :) This is great! |
Wow! I can't wait to get on Pottermore! |
I'm a Puff! (:woot:) They look amazing! I love the one on the right, but I think the actual one looks amazing as well! ^__^ GO PUFFS! |
Very interesting! |
So..they had really placed much effort even on the teeny tiniest detail eh ? They totally did a fairly great job ! |
I love them, Hufflepuff looks very respectable. But of course, I am a true Slytherin. But I felt like laughing when they said that Slytherin was the only one facing the left. Really? If you are looking at it, it is facing the left. But it is really looking to ITS right, as the abdger is looking behind it at ITS left. |
I like how they made ripples of water in the Slytherin crest. It somehow makes sense, because it relates to the Slytherin common room. |
Really cool! |
Love the crests. Gotta love the Hufflepuff one. :D Once a Puff...forever a Puff. <3 |
Crests I love the school crests they are so awesome! :) |
awesome .. |
