Post Potter Tops Hot Summer Reading List
Yahoo has announced that Harry is at the top of this summer's hot book list.

Of course, the runaway hit of the summer will undoubtedly be "Harry Potter," which comes out in July. Scholastic, Inc., the U.S. publisher of J.K. Rowling's fantasy series, has announced a first printing of 10.8 million copies of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the largest such printing for a hardcover release in this country. The previous record holder was "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," which came out in 2003 with a first run of 6.8 million.

"Summer is our best selling period. We get three solid months of sales and with a 'Potter' book coming out it, figures will be really great," Hensley said

wow thats alot. Im not to surprised though. haha if someone ever says "no one reads those anymore" to me then I can say that 10.8 millon books have already been printed and is the largest amount ever in this country...heehee:p

HBP wil be my winter read lol.. im in Oz so its a bit diff ova here lol... yay 2 more months!!.. itlll fly by...i have a busy 2 months ahead so itll definately go fast... thank gawd lol

that is an "of course." i mean, summer is a relaxation period and HP books are the best thing to read.
