| | |  Potter stars will appear in Florida
First we heard Devon Murray, James & Oliver Phelps (Seamus Finnigan, Fred & George Weasley in the Potter films) were to appear in Florida, US, in January 2005 and then we heard they weren`t. Showmasters Ltd has sent out a press release regarding their appearance at "The Coolest Show on Earth" to confirm they will be appearing there from January 28th-30th 2005. Quote:
We just wanted to clear up some confusion that appears to have emerged in the last day or so about the attendance of James and Oliver Phelps, and Devon Murray at the forthcoming FX Show in Orlando, Florida on 29th and 30th January 2005.
It has been reported that James, Oliver and Devon knew nothing about the show and were not actually attending at all. However, we at Showmasters are the ones who have booked them in to the event, and having spoken to James and Oliver's representative, and Devon personally about an hour ago, we can confirm that, subject to their acting commitments, they are all very much aware of the show, and are still very much attending and looking forward to meeting their fans in The United States.
We hope that this clears up any confusion surrounding this matter, and we know that many of you will enjoy meeting James, Oliver and Devon when they make one of their rare appearances in America at Florida FX! For more information on their appearances you can visit the official show website.

Just checked website to see status, and it's disappointing. I hope no one bought their tickets early!!! Now I can finally, and emphatically say, "Why don't they ever come to Florida!!!???" Quote:

We have just received word from Showmasters that James & Oliver Phelps and Devon Murray have been called in for filming on Harry Potter and WILL NOT be able to make FX! Apparently, the boys had been under option with WB, but did not expect that they'd be called in to shoot on our weekend when they booked for FX. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused any of you. We will do our best to bring them over for a future event here in Florida
