Movieticket.com has put together a list of the top 20 performing films of all-time, in terms of online cinema sales, and the Harry Potter films have graced it five times! They came in at 3rd, 7th, 12th, 13th, and 15th.

It's weird that GoF is better than OotP and CoS better than PoA.
Kindoff weird, because I really liked PoA! And I think the first 3 films are best. Most like the books..

:blink: GoF came before OotP? Wow. I didn't really think that GoF would do better than OotP, seeming as it is a year or so older than OotP.

WTH? Fellowship of the Ring didnt make the list? and the first Spiderman movie? but those are the films that triggered its sequels to be made. Sex and the City and Indy Jones may be doing well now, but i dont think they've sold more tickets that FOTR or Spidey1. i think they're just basing it on gross receipts. <_<

i would expect that about the HP movies. excellent as usual. I also expected that all three lord of the rings movies would have made it as well.

exactly. i dont know what they use to qualify that list. i mean if they're using box office receipts, where the heck is Titanic? its the highest grossing movie of all time.

i'm starting to think that list is nothing more than a popularity contest. some of the films listed makes me go wtf? >_<

Wow. GoF at the top of the series? Hm, I would have though SS or OotP. Oh well. ;] That's cool that they're all on this list! Really awesome. I wish one of the movies got first though! :[

Yay for HP making the list with every film, but... The list sucks. Maybe it should be renamed to "The most popular but not necessarily good films of the last couple of years".
