The
Make-A-Wish Foundation is going to make Brittany Hazelrigg's dream come true. Brittany is going to be flown to London to meet the cast of Harry Potter.
The Herald Review reports that Brittany said she said that she liked to "look at behind the scenes stuff a lot". Brittany researched the cast members, and will present them all gifts that appeal to their real-life interests.
Brittany will present Dan with a CD Mix, as well as an alternative t-shirt.

With freshly manicured fingernails matching her blue eyes, she'll hand Radcliffe a mix CD and an alternative T-shirt.
She also plans to ask them personal questions rather than focus on their characters.
Having read "The Goblet of Fire" seven times and the previous books too many times to count, she'd probably know the answers, anyway.

Her mother, Melanie McDaniel, has even seen Brittany lie on her bed simultaneously reading a Harry Potter book, following along with the movie and listening to the soundtrack.
"It's a little too much, really," McDaniel said with a snicker. "That's the point I'm saying, 'Should I be worried?' "

But Brittany's affinity for the charming British cast extends beyond a teenager's crush. Talking about Harry Potter has eased her pain while recovering from major surgeries.
She's had 15 surgeries to correct a disabling birth defect, spina bifida. The end of Brittany's spinal cord was not closed at birth, her mother said.
Occurring in seven out of 10,000 babies, the progressive condition affects kidney and bladder functions and sometimes leads to fluid in the brain, according to the Spina Bifida Association of America.
Her physician suggested she cast a wish with the foundation two years ago. After much deliberation, she chose the Harry Potter cast over a swim with the dolphins.

The family took several trips this year, including a swim with the dolphins, to take the focus off of upcoming surgeries that could leave Brittany homebound next summer.
To prevent kidney damage, she will have to complete some procedures during the nine-hour flight to London. But she plans to read a suitcase-full of Harry Potter books to ease her mind.
"I get so focused on the books, it's like I'm in it," she said. "I think it's kind of cool."

Once in London, Brittany, her mother, stepfather and two younger brothers, Conar and Caden, will follow a five-day itinerary of sightseeing organized by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The family will spend another five days in Scotland so Brittany, also an avid Travel Channel fan, can search for the Loch Ness monster.
