ACED Magazine spoke to the four Harry Potter actors who attended the Florida SuperCon last month - Hugh Mitchell (Colin Creevey), Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan), Danielle Tabor (Angelina Johnson films 1 - 3), and Natalia Tena (Tonks) - about their work on films. Devon and Nat, who worked on Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince, with director David Yates (who Nat says is, "awesome. He's so soft spoken. You don't even know how he gets stuff done."), specifically, had a great deal to say about the forthcoming sixth film.

Nat gave input into the difference between the sixth book and movie:

"The script was so different from the book. I think that a lot of Harry Potter fans are going to be a bit narked off about it, and that's my own opinion. I think it is so different from the book. Like so different. So many elements of it. I think the book is supposed to be about how the two worlds (Muggle and Wizarding) are now being affected by this dark force. Like the beginning of the book, you see the Prime Minister and you get a sense of that forecast. All this stuff was taken out, and I think it's a shame. I personally would've liked to see that."

Devon talked about all the kissing that took place in Half-Blood Prince:

Yeah, there is still a lot of kissing scenes in the sixth movie. So far, we have been able to see quite a few of them. They are pretty cool and really, really good." What a tease!

Everyone laughed, admiring his surprising response. "I don't kiss anybody. I don't kiss anybody though! But now, we are ripping the heck out of everyone who was kissing. So it's been pretty cool."

Another tidbit he gives is that the death scene that awaits us all at the end of the film is a "really good scene with lots of people crying."

Danielle and Hugh mentioned work on the earlier Harry Potter films, and their experiences with Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets director Chris Columbus:

"The first three [were] wicked. Like the first one, I was fifteen. I had no idea what was going on whatsoever, I was like, 'Ah heh...Cool!' And I was in school, so it was random. By the second and third one, I was really into it and everything. But with Chris Columbus, I thought it was like wicked stuff."

Hugh carries on, "He made me feel more relaxed about it. I mean, I was twelve years-old, and you know, I had done nothing [before]. I was walking out to the Great Hall and seeing people -- I have never done anything like it. I would have been definitely crapping myself. Chris Columbus was awesome. And he just makes you feel very relaxed and he drives you to such a point as well, but not in a bad way. I remember I was doing a scene and doing it over and over again and he was like shouting, 'You're insane! Remember you are insane!' I was like, he's absolutely crazy."

Devon sums it up, "He kind of treats us like one of his own children as well. He makes you feel like you can get away with everything, really. I think he was like the biggest child. The basketball courts thrown in. All the game rooms and everything in the studio."

And if they took out many of the things from the book, oh, boy...I will be mad...

Nat may bear bad tidings, but i am definitely not gonna shoot this messenger. in fact, i'd be showering rose petals on her now if i could.

Nat has given so much info about this film, she's invaluable. she the first one who divulged that Dumbledore's funeral wasnt filmed. and true to Tonk's fashion Nat gave her opinion which is shared by a great many Potter fans. Nat Tena is the voice of Potter fans on set.

i will say this though, maybe not all of the Muggle/Wizarding scenes from the first chapter is completely gone. remember there was news that they were filming a bridge in London where it was supposed to get blownup due to Voldermorts cohorts. they filmed that, looked like a lot of money was spent just executing it, so there's strong likelyhood that it will be in the movie.

but yeah looks like HBP is one big chick flick with some action on the side to keep the boyfriends happy.

I love all the teasers we were given about The Half Blood Prince! It sucks that they've changed so much about it, but they always do that so it isn't a surprise. WOOT! For the new info.

To be honest, as soon as I read Half-Blood Prince, I knew the scene with the two ministers would go. That conversation was just way too long to work onscreen.

Thing is, Nat hasn't read the book...so quite how she can compare the script to it, is a bit beyond me. Especially since I doubt she got the whole screenplay in the first place. Don't get me wrong, she's an amazing woman, and her sentiments are valuable, but that being said, she's just going on what other people have told her rather than reading the novel herself.

Guys, can we please remember the site rules. Just because the actors have sworn in these interviews, doesn't mean you can!

ok so one of harry potters actresses has said that fans are gonnabe narked off with the things that are cut from the hbp movie. lets have a little overview shall we and see if this movie will reall work.ok.
1. the dursleys are being cut. it dont feel like hp without them
2. the gaunts and hepzibah smith and adult lord voldemort are also cut. ok confusing much they are important to the subplot of the movie.
3. moaning mirtle being cut. she comfarts draco in the bathroom.
4. proffesor trelawney is cut. she tells harry about how snape told voldemort about the prophecy.
5.scrimgoar the wizard pm is being cut , so no mention of how hary is being wanted to give morale and a pin up boy.
6. bill and fluer are being cut so there may be no mention of the upcoming wedding.

ok so thats to name but a few cuts. and there also adding a scene that wasnt in the book. so fans beware before you go to see this next potter film dont get your hopes up and if you feel disapointed with the next installment then i dont think anyone should go see the final films. thatll make warner bros realise that without the support of the millions of harry potter fans around the
world then they would make nearly a bilion dollars per film. stop being so greedy and spend he money you make from these film making the fans beg for more. you already messed up ootp dont mae the same mistake again altho i think you will. david yates should never have been allowed near the hp franchise.

I completely agree-it's great to hear her talking about the differences between the film and the book and not necessarily aproving of the changes.

I'm sure that HBP will be alright. Anyway, what'd you expect from WB? TO be honest, I think that they don't really care what's in the books. Just as long as they get seom profit out of it. That's just my opinion.

Yeah, but the last few movies have almost had more invented scenes than actual scenes from the books! And that never bodes well!

I think she has read the book. Well she has read Deathly Hallows actually, so I'm sure she has read HBP then. I know it was written somewhere that everyone said they hadn't read the books, but Nat has.

This is going to be a ... dissapointing movie I think. It might be a good movie on it own, but not as one based off a book
