Just kidding all, don't beat me! :whisle:
That I Robot looks brilliant, I am going to go and see that. Spiderman 2 was great. But I may have to go and see POA one more time before it leaves the big screen.

Yeah, I agree Spiderman 2 was great and so was Shrek 2 but Spiderman 2 made me cry and I hate to cry especially in public, so I think PoA was the best. I laughed more while watching it than I did while watching Shrek 2. It had as much action as Spiderman 2 and as much humor as Shrek 2. So overall PoA was the best. Of course my opion may be just a bit bias.
I don't know if I'll go see I Robot or not, might just wait for it to come out on DVD but I will go see PoA if it's still out just one more time. I've seen it 12x but 1 more and it will be lucky 13. |

There's no need to be scared. It's fact that the UK fans must be the bigger or the more determined. It's been in the cinemas in the UK longer than the US ones and yet it's still in the top five here. It proves that we do spend alot of money on HP. Then again, American films don't do as well as they used to over here. Jersey Girl, Mean Girls and the Prince and me all disappeared from cinemas within a week. Haunted Mansion didn't even last a week!

Not as good as POA of course! Quote: There's no need to be scared. It's fact that the UK fans must be the bigger or the more determined. Your right about the American films though, but that Prince and Me is at my Ster Century at the moment but its obviously a total chick flick. Mind you, the next film I am dying to see is Bridget Jones' Diary 2, thats going to be out soon. :bouncepea: <--- cute, I have just noticed him! |

Wow, American films really don't do that well in Britain, huh? Oh well, I am sorry to see POA go down, but I am definetly going to catch it again before it leaves theaters. It was to good of a movie to not see it more than once.

yeah, i still think it should be in the top ten-it makes me mad that its not. A Cinderella Story-lol-probaby cuz it just came out and HP has been out for a while, but A Cinderella Story won't stay up there as long as POA did--no way! i want to see that movie actually cuz i like Hilary Duff!-lol-it doesn't look like the greatest movie on earth but i still want to see it. but not before i see POA again-i need to see it for a 5th time!! and POA definitely should beat ACS though anyway-i love POA wayyyyy better than Hilary Duff-lol.
it's great its still doing so well in the UK--it doesn't mean there aren't huge devoted fans as obsessed as fans in the UK over here-(i'm definitely one of them!!) it just means over here there is a bigger population and more movies to compete with. Unfortunately, POA isn't in the top ten anymore because of that-and it really annoys me-what are we doing over here!! go see POA everyone!! POA will always be #1 in my heart!!

So that would mean that since there is not as big a selection in the UK movie wise as in the US, but that does not mean that the US movies are any better (ex: A Cinderella Story BLEH )

I had to pick to Harry Potter 3 or Spiderman 2 but I totally regret picking Spiderman 2. Because I heard Harry Potter 3 is really good movie. But Spiderman 2 is really cool to see. But I can see it in about 4 months.

God, that IS a big drop. I personally think I Robot looks rubbish, but oh well. Long live Ster Century + Harry Potter + England! ( that equals immense happiness by the way ).
Well, it show's that Harry Potter is truly from Britain <3 heh heh.

Oh well, it had a good run. It is true about American films in the UK, some of them don't do that well, but others do. Like Spiderman 2 that was obviously gonna do well and Fahrenheit 9/11 is a very different film, that's probably why it's doing well |

We do have the majority of US made films. Just a week or two later than you guys. For example Mean Girls and The Prince and Me are recent films, A Cinderella Story is out next week over here, I believe. We also get alot of bollywood, British and European films. Quote: Well, it show's that Harry Potter is truly from England <3 heh heh. And Scotland seeing as it's written and set there.
And Wales cos Gryffindor and Lily (questionably) are Welsh.
I've seen it six times. I'm sure other fans have to. Maybe that's why it's so high over here still.

You have to say that Harry Potter is a British film as that includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Island. It's not just a English film! Also, it's all to do with the director, like GoF will be more of a BRITISH film because it will be directed by a British director, Mike Newell. Whereas, PS/SS and CoS were directed by Chris Columbus who's American and PoA directed by Alfonso, so that's Mexican. But we do get ALOT of American films and they usually are released alot later.
