| | PoA film with most mistakes in 2004 Movie Mistakes has mentioned all three Potter films (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) their Most Mistake-filled Movies of 2004 list.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban makes the number one spot with a supposed number of 235 mistakes.
The Harry Potter films are also mentioned in the Best Mistakes of All Time section. Quote: 10) Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
When Harry, Ron and Hermione rush to Hagrid after the end of the year exams, and Harry is saying something that ends with, "Why didn't I see it before?", Hermione is mouthing his lines.
Quote: 12) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
At the beginning of the scene near the end of the movie with Lucius Malfoy fuming at Dumbledore in his office, Malfoy's hair is fanned back behind his shoulders. The lighting in the room illuminates the back of his neck, where you can see his real, short brown hair.
Incidentally, a mistake from PoA also made it onto The Biggest Mistakes of 2004 List: Quote: 4) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
When Harry drops the Monster Book of Monsters, in the first shot facing Harry's feet as the book chomps at him, he runs backwards a few steps and he stands at the foot of the bed. However, in the shot facing the fireplace, there is actually plenty of floorspace now, much more than other shots, between the rug and bed for Harry to continue to run backwards.

Well there may be mistakes but it doesn't change the fact that all 3 Potter films are awesome!

| Majority of the mistakes are just ones like 'Harry was holding the map in his right hand but when it cuts back to him the map is in his left hand.'. There's a few I noticed, like the obvious body doubles and seeing someone from the crew in a scene. |

I never notice any mistakes until they're all pointed out! It's fun to go back and watch it just for the mistakes!

what about the most obvious canon mistake- the writers/director STILL have Harry doing underage magic: at the beginning of the movie his is performing "lumos," and THEN, harry even tells his relatives that he's going to get in trouble for underage magic after he blew up Marge, despite the fact he wasn't concerned about it when he was performing it before. Ugh! That's what pisses me off most about the movies!

That's not classified as a mistake because it's book to movie transition related. Sites only list film mistakes made in the making of the production, not the adaptation of it.
Like the Minister said, they don't arrest minors for blowing up people so they'd hardly arrest them for doing their homework!!! Even in the book, PoA, we learn Harry has homework to do, which he cant becuase his stuff is locked away, but surely magic homework involves the use of a wand?!
The law is in place for magic used in front of and in the prescence of MUGGLES. Otherwise, magic is permitted, perse, I'd imagine, for homework.
