At a recent Cannes Film Festival press conference for his upcoming film X-Men:The Last Stand, actor Patrick Stewart made mention that he would like to participate in the Harry Potter films. He stated that: Quote:
"Every single actor over 60 in England is in the Harry Potter movies,"
Quote:
"I am still smarting from the fact that Ian McKellen starred in Lord of the Rings and apparently there was no part in it for me."
Mr. Stewart has an extensive and highly acclaimed career both on stage and in film. He is most widely know, however, for his portrayal of Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the television series Star Trek:The Next Generation.

Hmm...maybe Slughorn...Ooh! With proper make-up and such I think he would make an excellent Rufus Scrimgeour, like his voice would match the character, very masculine and over-powering, like a lion!
