| | |  Over a million French Deathly Hallows sold
Gallimard, the French Harry Potter publishers, have announced that 1.15 million copies of Deathly Hallows were sold in the first 48 hours of release. Half the initial print-run for Harry Potter et les Reliques de la Mort was purchased on Friday & Saturday, 44% more copies than Harry Potter et le Prince de Sang-Mêlé ( Half-Blood Prince) which sold 800,000 in the same time-span.
