| | |  'Order of the Phoenix' filming at Loch Shiel
It has been reported that second unit filming for ' Order of the Phoenix' has recently taken place at Glenfinnan, Glencoe and Glen Etive, Scotland. Quote:
And the first of the action saw a Harry Potter double on location at Glenfinnan, in front of Bonnie Prince Charlie's Monument, skimming flat stones across Loch Shiel. Film crews in boats recorded the action, as excited tourists visiting the monument looked on eagerly.
Local man Donald MacLean who was watching from the loch shore, said: "Once Harry's double got the hang of it he was able to send the stones quite a long way." Glenfinnan will figure prominently in Phoenix, with the famous train the Hogwart's Express crossing its famous railway viaduct.
The article also states that filming from a helicopter has taken place around Hagrid's Hut in Clachaig Gully and snowy scenes were previously shot at Glen Etive.

Oh, so I guess all that talk about them losing money with the 'vacation' was a load of rubbish considering that they're not entirely shutting down all production. I'm sure they're probably losing some, but early reports had them shutting down completely. Good to know there is still some stuff going on!

I keep my fingers crossed with this film. I hope they know what they're doing with the plot. Special effects shouldn't be their most important concideration, for a film based on a book, i think.

OMG this is too exciting for words. I'm all of a dither.  Helicopter scenes and snow? I'm absolutely lost for words and in love with what's going on. I hope Order of Phoenix doesn't let me down - not after all my excitement and high expectations.
