It's only released this year? The girl sitting next to me in class bought a OOTP first edition paperback 1 month after the first edition hardcover came out!

Hey that's great. Wonder when it will be released over here across the pond. Soon I hope. I like reading while in the tub and that's hard to do with a hardback.

Absolutely. On top of that, it's about half the cost of the hardback. You have no idea how hard it's been trying to convince my parents to buy the book

I have the paperbacks for the other books and the Hardback for OOTP, but I prefer the hardbacks, they look better on the shelf and the covers don't tear, longevity to me is more important, because these books of mine will become heirlooms for my children and grandchildren - one day....

Well I am quite happy with my hardback edition. You know when I went to see PoA they actually showed the advert for the paperback edition for OotP. That's prolly 'cos they know all who are there are HP fans. Sneaky of them
