| | |  Oliver Phelps set to star in Pablo Picasso biopic, Latin Quarter
Southern Rising Productions has confirmed that Harry Potter star Oliver Phelps (George Weasley in the series), will be portraying the role of absurdist literature French writer Alfred Jarry in the upcoming production of Latin Quarter: Quote:
A lively account of Pablo Picasso's wild and innovative years when he arrived in Paris as a young artist to the happening art scene in the early 1900s.
The film, which is set to begin production in the UK this coming March, also stars Avan Jogia (as Picasso), Dean Cain, Martin Landau, John Ratzenberger and Kevin Sorbo.
Latin Quarter also has an official Twitter for fans to keep up with in regards to the production of the film. The movie is currently set for a 2012 release. We hope to have more information on the project and Oliver's involvement soon. | |

I'm so happy to hear this! So far we've mostly heard of Dan, Rupert, Tom and Emma's upcoming projects, so it's very nice to know that others are moving on to new things as well, whether it's acting or something totally different I wish all of them will have a great career whatever they decide to do in their life
It's also kind of strange to imagine Oliver without James... even though they're two separate persons of course, but we're just so used to seeing them together But i'm sure they're both happy to be able to do things on their own.
