| | No David Hasselhoff in Goblet of Fire
We reported a few weeks ago, a rumor that David Hasselhoff, famous for starring in 'Batwatch' was seen mingling with stars on the GoF set and could possibly be up for a role in the film. E! Online are now reporting that he DOES NOT have a role in the production - it turns out that mingling probably was all he was doing. Quote:
Hasselhoff later deplaned for England where he starred in the musical Chicago on London's equivalent of Broadway.
The U.K. visit spurred a story that Hasselhoff, internationally renown for his Speedo-wearing wizardry on Baywatch, was "up for a part" in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The movie Website IGN FilmForce tracked down the report to the oft-inventive British tabloids. (Translation: Don't hold your breath on catching Hasselhoff duel with Dumbledore.)

Thank God for that! He would definitely have lowered the tone of the film, therefore spoiling it. No offense to Hasselhoff personally, but I really don't like his screen persona. In fact, if he gave up acting altogether, he would be doing everyone ( including himself) a great favour!

If that had ever happened, I doubt that I'd have gone to se GoF...well, yes, I would, but it would be a lot stupider, if you ask me, and there isn't a single part I believe he could actually fill in...thank God this didn't happen...what I've always wondered is why he seems to ahve a popular following in Germany, of all places...

i didn't belive that he'd be in it in the first place. no offense but i believe that the movie is better off without. i just don't see him as a part of it and he would have just lowered the tone of the movie as mentioned earlier here. lol. sorry but that's just my opinion.
what role could he have been a part of anyways?

Hogwarts RPG Name: Katherine Elizabeth Thomas Third Year | Shiny 'Claw Babe Thats a relief! Isn't he American? If he was going to be in the films it would't be fair to all us other Americans who wanted to be in the film.... but he isn't! Yay! I think it would have made GoF kinda retarded.
