Post Nick Moran talks edited Deathly Hallows scene involving Scabior tormenting Ron

Actor Nick Moran, who plays snatcher Scabior in the final two installments of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, recently admitted that as part of his role as the menacing bad guy, he got the chance to torment and beat up costar Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, after catching the trio in a forest.

How did you enjoy filming Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows? One leading bookmaker is offering just 2/9 that it will go down in history as the most successful Harry Potter movie ever.

Well I loved it and Harry is great, he’s in fine form. I’m looking forward to that and as far as red carpet events go that is going to be mad and it will be the biggest premiere in the world. I’ve seen all my bits although as you are probably aware some of them were watered down a little but because they were too gory. Some of the scenes became very real and when you leave my character in the woods with a load of kids what am I going to do? I’m going to do whatever I want!

It was all a bit of a shock and they pruned down my torture scenes where I beat up Rupert, call him ginger and stamp on him. It’s going to be great, there is loads going on and then there is the second film which is going to be absolutely spectacular!
Harry Potter and and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.

Sorry, WB is upsetting me heaps these days...I apologise if I upset anymore but I'm sure a lot of you will agree with me...these books aren't for kids anymore...well, by that I mean really young kids.

okay, 1. Stop watering down this movie WB! Do you not notice that this series isn't for kids now?
and, 2. I can't wait for the scene where he beats up Ron,, so that way I can see how crap they possibly turned it.
Other than that, I do believe this will be a terrific movie.

Too true. I mean, COME ON! If The Dark Knight can be PG-13 and not dumb things down for the kiddies, Harry Potter can do it too! Especially if we're on the last film and all of the people that are die hard fans are adults now! I am around kids all the time and very few of them have read the books. And even if they have, they definitely haven't read the 7th, because that one's way too intense for them at that age! And so the movie should be too! Whatever, just as long as Hermione's torture scene is still intense! I can't wait to see Ron screaming for her, I know Rupert's gonna do a fantastic job!

They have to consider the ratings boards, though. They have to keep the content as family-centred as possible while staying true to the story. They don't want to lose out on the biggest market.

So, by this do they mean that they're cutting it out COMPLETELY or just going to show a few shots?
It just means it's in but not as intense as it could be.
