| | Nick Moran talks deleted Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I gory scenes
Actor Nick Moran, who plays Snatcher Scabior in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, recently spoke about how some of his scenes were removed from the final cut, due to be far too gory. Quote:
"The scenes I did were really, really dark, really, really dark, but when I went to see them they cut some of the worst bits out, and I was talking to producer David Heyman, saying, 'Oh no, why's that gone?' He said, apparently it was like watching Saw," Moran said.
"It's been brilliant. I'm the new baddie in the Harry Potter film. I can't really give too much away - it's hilarious, because your script has a watermark in it," he recalled.
"It says a number, which is on every page, so that if you lose it, everyone knows it was you. So it's all top secret."
Nick and Deathly Hallows costar Jason Isaacs attended the UK premiere of his upcoming film, The Kid, earlier this week. Photos of the two actors can be found in our galleries. ![](http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/albums/userpics/84186/mURI_temp_24d4af98.jpg) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011. |

Lol I love Nick <3 I hope they release them on the DVD or something. It'd really be a shame if they didn't. I'm sure they were brilliant, no matter how dark and disturbing they might be for a general audience.

Haha. That's pretty funny. Hopefully they'll be on the extra scenes and deleted scenes on the DVD when it comes out tho.

| Well, as long as they keep it edgy. That is, in my opinion, what has made the last films (directed by David Yates) so intersting to watch. I don't like sugar coating. So hopefully, they will show, for example, Ron's splinching in a realistic way, but not over-the-top gory. That's probably what they mean when they cut certain scenes. |

It's too bad that they had to cut them out. It would've made the movie really good. Hopefully those bits will be on the DVD though.

while Harry Potter being compared to SAW is a little disturbing...I don't want to see the films be "dumbed down" to keep a PG rating. Just as the characters matured, so did the story. Deathly Hallows is dramatically different from Sorcerer's Stone...

I am guessing Hermione will still have blood on her hands since she is tending to Ron-cant wait for this scene!!! Seeing Hermione taking care of her Ron...also I cant see this movie being PG-not w. all the deaths and darkness and well TORTURE... not gonna believe DH will be PG-if they do, OUR SYSTEM here in the states stinks then. It really needs to be PG-13!

Yea but haven't previous films in the series already been PG-13? So I'm not sure why there'd be a pressing to get this one in at PG. Plus hello, it's MORE than reasonable for these two films to be at least PG-13 for petes sake. In fact if you were doing a true, genuine adaptation they should probably even be rated R.
Except then we wouldn't be able to go as a family to watch it in the theatres. That would just suck. That's the best part of those, is that we always go to see it in the theatres the first time around. Plus I'm doing house scarves for my whole family to wear when we go, and that would just be depressing if we couldn't go see it.
It's kinda like Breaking Dawn. Seriously, rated R?? Just cut those out, and we're good. I'm glad it wasn't rated like that, because my friend would be talking my ear off about it (do you think she's a fan?).

Jason Isaacs looks weird without his sexy, blonde mane, still attractive, but...it's just not the same.
