| | |  New Hogsmeade village Harry Potter theme park photos & rumoured wand shop information
Several new photos of the interior of Hogsmeade village from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter have been released, showing the outside of Honeydukes Sweets shop, the Hogmseade sign, and the Hogwarts Express unveiled by the entrance to the park. They can be seen, courtesy of This is Briandom, in our galleries. 
Additionally, new rumours have surfaced about the Ollivanders wand shop staff receiving a book of wand history and information, straight from J.K. Rowling. Quote:
We’ve also heard quite a bit about Olivander’s Wand Shop. I’m told that over 20 actors have been hired to act as the shop keepers, and have been told that they will be given a “wand bible” written up by JK Rowling to memorize, detailing the names and descriptions of around 400 different wands.
As for the price range and specialisations for each of the wands: Quote:
I’ve been told that the various wands up for sale will range in price from $25 up to $150 per wand. Apparently the more expensive your wand… the more things it will actually be able to do. For example, some wands are rumored to have a light up tip if activated the right way. Other wands are rumored to have uses beyond the park, possibly being Bluetooth enabled or allowing for you to plug them into your PC and download some special functions into them from the internet. If true, one such wand is said to work as a TV remote control.

How exciting... I probably won't pay for one of the fancy wands. A normal wood one is good for me  But, I'd like to get my hands on one of those wand bibles... I've always said that if I was in the wizarding world, wand lore is what I'd want to study.

I think it is uber cool that JK herself may have had a hand in the wand bible, but to spend that much cash on a wand is, in my humble opinion, ridiculous...I could just see a wand lying around on the coffee table or the book shelf and never getting picked up again...once the trick that it does gets old. That said, i imagine there will be all sorts of goodies to spend money on that wont get lost in my house!
