| | |  New Harry Potter film series shop & display at Harrods of London
Warner Bros announced today that Harrods of London will host a Harry Potter display from Monday, October 24, 2011 through January 2012, featuring sets, props, and merchandise from the film series and subsequent attachments, including the LEGO Harry Potter games and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter (pre-book and order tickets here). A couple of photos of the set, as well as the detailed press release, can be seen and read below. 
 Having opened on Monday, 24 October 2011 at Harrods (London, UK), and running through January 2012, fans are now able to shop at a pop-up Harry Potter store, see original costumes and props from the films, and get a sneak peek of the ‘Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter’ attraction.
Located on the 3rd floor of the store, The Harry Potter Shop at Harrods covers over 4,000 square feet and offers fans and holiday shoppers the opportunity to select from a huge range of Harry Potter products. The product range includes prop replicas and collectibles from The Noble Collection and Tonner Doll; toys and games from LEGO, TOMY, Hasbro, Winning Moves, and She Who Dares; a collection of wizard costumes from Rubies; and the LEGO Harry Potter video games. “Harry Potter™ : The Complete 8-Film Collection” in the Limited Edition Elder Wand Chest, which is only available in the UK at Harrods, starting 2 December 2011, will retail for £199 and contains the complete Harry Potter film collection on 11 Blu-ray™ discs.
Also on display are original props and costumes from the films, including the sword of Gryffindor, broomsticks, Hogwarts school uniforms, and the Elder Wand.
Game pods are set up in-store to allow fans to play LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, as well as LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, upon its release on 18 November 2011. Sony also has their latest 3D technology on display so fans can watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 1 and, after its release on 2 December, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ – Part 2 in 3D. Finally, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter has set up a special installation where visitors can take their photo at the Great Hall and get a sneak peek of what to expect when the UK’s newest attraction opens on 31 March 2012.

holy mother !!! i live in sydney australia and by the time i finish saving up to fly out to london and spend a good $1000 in this store it would have packed itself up and gone ! :'(
lukily the next best thing for me is the Harry Potter exhibition which comes here in 2-3 weeks, can not wait !!!!!
Still .... other amazing attractions like the wizarding world of harry potter; and the harry potter making in londay ... will probably never get to see in my life! they should atleast do something for us Aussie fans at Warner Bros. Movie World Gold Coast; I was there last year and the Harry Potter store they had was not that great - really small and hardly anything Harry Potter related (other than wands, dolls and keyrings; I mean really ...?!?!?!).
Make the most of it to anyone who's going to this !!!!!!
TAKE PLENTY OF PHOTO'S PLEEEEAAAASSEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
And don't forget to pre-order your Page to Screen book available on Amazon the book is AMAZING! Something for everyone.
