More new images from 'Goblet of Fire' (updated)
 

Three more 'Goblet of Fire' images have emerged from the 2006 wall a calendar. They include a picture of Harry leaning over Cedric Diggory's dead body.

Wow, I love the one where Harry is over Cedrics body! Look at Cedric! That is freaky!! Harry looks so scared! Its good to see that every now and then. I dont always like to see him so calm cause its not normal. Everyone gets scared! Also i wonder why Harry hasn't cried much in the book/movies. Maybe JK just wants to point out hoew strong he is and that his emotions are strong enough. It always helps him when hes facing Voldemort.

Well,I don't know about you guys but this movie is going to be Grrrreart ! The pictures they keep throwing out to us show the magnificent and detail the actors,cast,crew and director put into it. Look at the older picture of the trio at the QWC w/ the tents on fire in the background.Mad-Eye Moody's not how I pictured him but look at his face...It's gross! The merpeople look awesome and now these new images from the calendar..I'm in AWE!
The picture of Harry (looking terrified and sad) over Cedric's body is fantastic (in a sad but cool way). Cedric looks so real playing dead..so believable...COOL PIX!

Well don't care that much for Robert Pattinson but that is kinda sad. :erm: But it just makes me wanna go :console: Harry. Now if Ron was dead I would be like :cry: and I would turn goth [sorta like :bat_touz: ] and swear to avenge his death and totally :stab:,and :dragon:Voldemort. Muahahaha!!!! :evil: Then I would move on in life and find someone who I can spill out my tortured, tormented, and misunderstood teenage heart and soul to, as well as one who can :console: my broken and forever torn heart. :D Good thing that'll never happen! :rotfl:

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I was like, "Am I just thinking that because I don't think Dan's that great of an actor?" 'Cause I try to be as objective as possible... but maybe it's the scan it just appears that he looks like he's laughing/smiling.

In any case, the scene does look sad. Harry's reaction doesn't make me feel anything... it's seeing that dead body there. But there is nothing worse than seeing a dead body... especially if it's someone you love.

He's not smiling, he is crying and when anyone cries so desperately it looks like that. Next time you cry, look yourself at a mirror and you will understand it.

No, you are not been objetive, becase Daniel is actually doing a great performace in that scene, maybe you need to see other movies like 'The Hours' or 'The English Patient', because you will be surprised how much it looks like the performaces of the great actors that act in them.

Yes, that's why I said 'trying' and that 'maybe the scan is bad'. Because to me it DOES look like that. It's the first thing I thought. But this is a still picture and that doesn't show the whole scene. I do like to be objective as possible and I'm hoping beyond hope that it doesn't come off like that, but this particular picture, imo, does come off to ME as that way. And obviously I'm not the only one... there are three other people who thought that on this forum alone.

I love and adore Cedric, I am not gonna be able to watch him die in the movie. It's just going to be rough.

I know perfectly well that people can look like that. I'm 25, I've seen enough TV shows and movies to know that. LOL I don't know what patty (who btw, I have on ignore) has told you, but I don't hate Dan. I want him to be absolutely brilliant because I want the movies to be good. But I won't stop from voicing an opinion - which is to say the picture does look like that. And I'm sure everyone else was stating the same opinion with no malicious intent behind it.

Thank you Steph. This isn't about the actors, it's about the film. If you want to discuss Dan's acting then go to his fan club thread where I'm sure you'll find everyone's opinions are agreeable to yours.

Members should not be made to feel victimised and we won't tolerate it. Several people shared the same opinion yet only one was singled out. That's not fair. You can't force your opinion on other people. If you don't like someone's opinion then walk away, don't start trying to tell someone they're wrong for having a mind of their own.

Sorry but I agree with Tao, Dan looks like he's either smiling or crying of happiness in that pic. I'd be hypocrite to say that it moved me to tears or any strong emotion.

But, okay, my opinion is based only on this particular pic.

This pic might not even come from the exact scene that makes the final cut of the film. So let's give him a chance.. let's just wait and see the entire movie first, and watch how he actually acts out this depressing scene -- before passing judgment. I wont say yet that Dan's acting (especially his crying) hasnt improved since PoA.

It did for me but because of Cedric. Robert Pattinson looks dead. I mean, extremely. It's not just make-up. It's the way he has his eyes... that shock in them like he just didn't expect it. And it brings back bad memories of my brother's funeral... seeing him lying there... a young person dead is always tearful and emotional.

Yes, I have lost loved relatives too, maybe that's the reason I know perfectly well that Dan's face is completly sincere, believable and well done.

OK Cedric’s faces just creeps me out :poke: it bothers me that he has his eyes open, I am sorry but his face doesn’t make me sad but scare (the open eyes), I have seen may dead people in my family that they looks like they are sleeping when they have their eyes close not open.

What really moves me from this picture is Harry’s expressions, that makes me sad, I know this scene is going to be very emotional, I cannot wait to see this movie. :ballcap:

Well, and not to get morbid, but people usually die with their eyes open unless they die in their sleep because it's normally very unexpected. When you see people in coffins, at funerals, the people who do up the bodies and all push their eyes closed.

I work in a funerary and I have seen many dead bodies, and most of them have their eyes close, the ones who have their eyes open is because sometimes the muscle in their eyes don't close because of the position of how they die, but most of the time the muscle is suppose to close.
It is funny to see a picture of a dead body, but to see it in real life AND with his eyes open, is very creepy :dizzy:

Thing is people who die from this curse always end up with eyes open don't they? And a shocked expression on their face. The books have said so, so it's correct.
