[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/hp_grandpre_80.jpg' align='middle'> Mike Newell says GOF is a really good thriller -

Summary:
Mike Newell says Goblet of Fire is a really good thriller

Article:

Thanks to Wizardnews

Director Mike Newell has been entrusted with the fourth Harry Potter instalment, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, due out next year.

Newell will be the third director to tackle a Harry tale. Directors, like actors, usually don't like doing sequels. Does Newell feel there is a stigma?

"Do I feel like a second-class citizen coming in as the third director and on movie number four? I don't actually feel like that.

"I'm very, very keen on this Harry Potter story. For my money, it is the best of all the books. It's a really good thriller because it's clean and sharp and clear. But it is a bit like making a Bollywood movie."

Bollywood is the film industry in India - the films are characteristically very colourful with lots of singing and dancing...

I really can't see a link between Bollywood and Harry Potter though

ugh ya i agree that they'll have to take alot out, and i'm not happy! i wonder what'll be taken out, ya know? because jkr doesn't usually put alot of extra, unimportant stuff in her books that could be taken out for the movie. ::goes off to ponder:: :whisle:
