Yesterday Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) attended the Yorkshire SignFilm Festival in Bradford, England, where he presented awards to deaf young people. Held at the National Media Museum, the event showcased films made by local youngsters. Photos of Matt can be seen here.

The children were delighted to meet Matthew, 19, who plays Neville Longbottom in the smash hit Harry Potter movies. He described their films as “spectacular.”
“What really impressed me was that they’ve been involved in the whole process, from writing to editing,” said Matthew.
Judging by what I’ve seen today, it should be an annual event.”

thats so cool! im learning American sign language and is VERY different from British signing and lets just say the when they were signing "thumbs up" in a.s.l. its something MUCH different! ahah =)
