Rob Knox, the actor who played Marcus Belby in
Half-Blood Prince, and who was brutally stabbed to death
two months ago, was
due to have a larger role in
Deathly Hallows, according to his dad.
Quote:
Rob, a 6ft 1in gentle, intelligent young man, was bullied at school but emerged as a courageous champion of assault victims himself. Leaving school with nine GCSEs and two A-levels, he went straight into acting, auditioning for a part in the Harry Potter movie last year.
He wasn't expecting to land the role but the good news came in a phone call from his agent.
Colin smiled: "Rob was elated and we were so proud of him. He got on well with all the cast, some of whom told me that Rob was a breath of fresh air. He made coming to work a joy for everyone. The director even told him that his part would be expanded for the next movie."
Once again, our deepest heartfelt condolences go out to his family & friends.
