| | |  Marcus Belby to have had expanded role in Deathly Hallows
Rob Knox, the actor who played Marcus Belby in Half-Blood Prince, and who was brutally stabbed to death two months ago, was due to have a larger role in Deathly Hallows, according to his dad.  Quote:
Rob, a 6ft 1in gentle, intelligent young man, was bullied at school but emerged as a courageous champion of assault victims himself. Leaving school with nine GCSEs and two A-levels, he went straight into acting, auditioning for a part in the Harry Potter movie last year.
He wasn't expecting to land the role but the good news came in a phone call from his agent.
Colin smiled: "Rob was elated and we were so proud of him. He got on well with all the cast, some of whom told me that Rob was a breath of fresh air. He made coming to work a joy for everyone. The director even told him that his part would be expanded for the next movie."

i feel so bad with what happened to him. even if he wasnt as perfect as his dad makes him appear to be (which parent doesnt wax poetic about their kids?), the way he was killed was such a cowardly act and senseless, given how easy it is to have averted such a crime.

That's so horrible. In some ways it's good; now we know that he was very appreciated for his role in the movies. I'll be sure to pay special attention to his scenes in HBP.
