Amazon
announced in June that the LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 video game will be available for the
Kindle Fire tablet as part of
Kindle FreeTime Unlimited aimed specifically for children. Kindle FreeTime Unlimited can be purchased, after installing the Kindle FreeTime app on any
Kindle Fire, for the monthly price of $2.99 per child or $6.99 per family (for Amazon Prime customers), and thousands of apps, including games, can be installed and played on the Amazon tablet product.
Kindle FreeTime is a free app for the Kindle, however to play LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 video game and various other games from Warner Bros, Disney, and EA, the Unlimited will have to be rented. Those without an
Amazon Prime account will have to rent the Unlimited facilities for $4.99 per child or $9.99 per family per month.
Amazon noted that the sequel to the successful game, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, will be available later this year.
