| | Large Print HBP release dates
It has been announced that Thorndike Press (US) and Raincoast Books (Canada) will release large print editions of ' Half-Blood Prince' in August of this year. Bloomsbury (UK) will release their large print editions on July 16th along with the regular books.
The Large Print Editions are important not only for the visually impaired but also for struggling readers. For more information please go to Gale Schools.

Oh Wow it will probally give people who cant read to well a chance a read them and maybe people with eye sight problems a chance to read them I think that is really nice of them

I heard that all the books are printed on super thick paper for the sole reason that jkmrowling wanted it(the books)to be thicker. so, the big print versions have to be HUGE! nice idea for other people, but the big print versions drive me (personally) nuts. thanks 4 the info

It looks as if the only version they're not going to make is the mp3 version, but I don't really mind. I don't like to "listen" to my books anyway

Not necessarily, there will probably be more pages, but at the same time, it is likely that the entire book will be bigger, so more or the large print words can fit on a page. So it'll probably be maybe a bit thicker, and the book itself larger....but don't quote me on that.
It's nice to see how early it's coming out. It'd be cool if, by book 7, it came out at the same time.
