It's really cool that even people who may be blind or dyslexic can get it. After all, we should all have equal rights. |

i dont think its thoughtful, but more something they would have to do to escape being branded as discriminating against the blind, but you cant question their intentions.

I think that its a nice thing to do. Its the thought that they translated the books into braile which may have taken a long time, so that those people could have the same opportunities as other people, and near the release date for the normal book

Its not like they are hand imprinting the brail, it probably takes somemore time, but not that much. I think that if they were really nice, they would print it in advance so that blind people can have it on the 16th of july.

Sixth | I am 18 and I am also dyslexic. Reading the Harry Potter book in the normal books was hard yes. When I started to read Harry Potter I had a reading level of a 5th grader. Now I read higher then an 48 year old who is a non-dyslexic. I worked hard to get where I am... I am in my last year of hight school and I will tell you this... I give part of that to Jo case for writting Harry Potter. I carry my Harry Potter books with me where ever I go. I spend my time reading them over and over. I am so happy to hear that other children like me can now have a less harder time reading the books. And Haveing them for the blind is wonderful. Now my friend Allie (who is 12 and I work with. Lives 2 houses down from me.) Can read the books on her own. Now she can have the feeling of doing something on her own. I love reading to her and GoF and OftP are her fav. books. |
