JK Rowling updated her site with the answer to the FAQ Poll question"So HOW do members of the Order of the Phoenix communicate with each other?". Quote:
I was surprised that this particular question won the poll, because the answer (as I've already said) can be found in an already-published book (Goblet of Fire), whereas the other two questions related to book six.

I remember I did vote for that one, but I think I also voted again on my other computer for one of the others. Nevertheless they were pretty obvious, like the pensieve one, and on awesome news, 3hrs 30 min to go!!!

When Dumbledore summons Hagrid when Krum is attacked. A ghostly bird shoots out of his wand and heads to Hagrid's cabin. He quickly appears.

This bit of news, also tell us the just how talented the people around Dumbledore are. Remember back in book 3 when Lupin was teaching Harry the Patronus Spell? He commented that it was difficult magic and that some adult wizards could not manage the spell. Page 237 PoA
