| | J.K. Rowling teases Canadian, Australian Wizarding World schools' future reveal
In addition to the four new major Wizarding World schools revealed by J.K. Rowling through Pottermore this weekend, the Harry Potter author gave a couple of extra teasers and tidbits about the institutions, as seen below.
There are 11 large magical schools around the world, and seven have been named so far: Scotland's Hogwarts; France's Beauxbatons; northern Europe's Durmstrang; the United States' Ilvermorny; Brazil's Castelobruxo; Japan's Mahoutokoro; and Africa's Uagadou.
The others will be revealed through Pottermore in due time, said Rowling, including apparently schools in Canada and Australia. Australia is said to host one of the top 11 schools, though as Ilvermorny is the only major Wizarding school in North America, the Canadian school will probably be a smaller institution.
Ilvermorny will be mentioned in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film, as many of the lead characters, including Tina and Queenie Goldstein, and presumably Percival Graves, were students. |

so we have the following schools and the Magical communities they service: - Hogwarts = UK and Ireland
- Beauxbaton = France
- Durmstrang = Baltic / Nordic region
- Ilvermorny = USA / North America
- Castelobruxo = Brazil (South America area)
- Mahoutokoro = Japan / Asia Pacific
- Uagadou = African continent
- ?? = Australia (Oceania area?)
- ?? = Canada (North Pole area?)
theres 2 more missing to fill the 11 major Wizarding schools. looking at the map, the only other places that isnt serviced yet is the Eurasian continent, which is the largest continent on the planet. so should be expecting one in Russia / China / Mongolia... and another in the Middle East region?

edit: nvm, i think i found it. that PS3 game eh? i guess those are canon now
so redoing the list - Hogwarts = UK and Ireland
- Beauxbaton = France
- Durmstrang = Baltic / Nordic region
- Ilvermorny = USA / North America
- Castelobruxo = Brazil (South America area)
- Mahoutokoro = Japan / Asia Pacific
- Uagadou = African continent

- ?? = Canada (North Pole area?)
- Koldovstoretz = Russia
so i guess the last school services the Middle East? although for some reason i keep thinking India ought to have one of the schools...

To be perfectly honest with you, I don't think that there is a school in Canada. If anything most students will go to Ilvermorny, after all, it does take in students from all over North America.
With that in mind, I believe that one of the schools must be in India or Nepal.
While I recognize that North America encompasses Mexico, I grapple with the idea that Ilvermorny would have Spanish speaking equivalents of each of its courses; with the sheer size of the nation, and the influence that it has all over Latin America, I could only assume that one of the 11 greatest schools of magic is situated here.
