Post J.K. Rowling, more attend 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' opening gala premiere

The opening gala premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre in London is thriving this Saturday, July 30, and leading the way to all the guests in attendance was author J.K. Rowling.

Rowling briefly commented about how much she was overwhelmed by the positive reviews for the production, and hopes that it tours around the world in the future to as many places as it can. The author was joined by director John Tiffany, playwright Jack Thorne and producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender on the red carpet.

Do note that this is the pre-opening red carpet premiere, and that there will be another one after the second part completes on Saturday night, which will feature the whole cast of the Cursed Child (who could not attend the first premiere as they were prepping for the production).

For those interested in discussing the Cursed Child once the book releases on Sunday at SnitchSeeker, head right here!

Also spotted among the audience was Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's Dan Fogler, who was one of the many invited to the gala premiere.

Guess where I am?! GENIUS!

I'm extremely curious if J.K. Rowling retires from Harry Potter if she will appoint someone to take over the series on her behalf.
