J.K. Rowling commented on Saturday that she hopes and expects
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child's two-part play to have tours around the world in 'due course.' The eighth story is premiering in London this summer, starting with previews on June 7th.
This should not come as much of a surprise since the
Cursed Child's director, John Tiffany,
said last year that he hopes the plays travels around the world down the years.
Quote:
John Tiffany: “I’d love for this to eventually tour to places like Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness as well as around the world. Scotland is present in the Harry Potter stories with characters like McGonagall and the viaduct at Glenfinnan. Obviously we won’t have the viaduct but the country is a place which feels very alive in these stories.
