J.K. Rowling goes on Scotland's Better Together campaign defence on Twitter
J.K. Rowling took to Twitter the past two days to voice her opinion on the Better Together campaign, which stands for Scotland (home of the Harry Potter author) to remain with the rest of the UK. Rowling has already donated £1 million to the cause, and opening discussed her thoughts on the plans via her official site, but now, again, has gone on the defense as to why she stands with her own opinions.

I think Rowling is right on this, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Harry Potter fan. This isn't a good idea with the economy as it is right now.

i know i cant even begin to understand the sentiments and politics of Scotland remaining as part of the UK, but i will be a sad international observer if they do jump ship. for us standing on the outside looking in, Scotland is part of the UK, its part of its national identity. its just canon you know? theres no questioning that.

Agreed, and I'm not from the UK either. I hear that a lot of the younger people in Scotland want to separate, but I hope it doesn't happen. In times like this, isn't unity important?
