BAFTA announced that J.K. Rowling and several cast and crew of
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them are confirmed to attend this Sunday evening's EE British Academy Film Awards, where the movie itself received five nominations, including Best British Picture.
2017 BAFTA nominees Rowling, producer David Heyman, and director David Yates will be heading to the Royal Albert Hall, London for the ceremony, while
Fantastic Beasts actors Eddie Redmayne (a previous BAFTA winner for his Oscar-winning performance in
The Theory of Everything), and Carmen Ejogo (President Picquery) are expected to show up and even hand out an award. BBC's
The Cormoran Strike Mysteries' series co-lead actress Holliday Grainger (who plays Robin Ellacott) will be going to the BAFTAs as well.
Hosted by Stephen Fry, the ceremony will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC One HD at 21.00 on Sunday 12 February. Audiences at home will also be able to watch a live stream of the red carpet on
BAFTA’s Facebook page between 16.30 and 18.30.
