Signed copy of The Silkworm
We are delighted to announce a very special perk for our generous funders: a copy of The Silkworm signed by J.K. Rowling AND Robert Galbraith. This is a truly one-of-a-kind item, and we’re excited to be able to give you the chance to own it. To enter the contest, first donate to this campaign. Multiple donations/entries are permitted.
On December 12th, you will receive an email from Lumos. This email will contain all the information you need to complete your contest entry. We will ask you to answer 3 questions about Lumos; please reply to the email and submit your answers to complete the contest. This should take no more than 2 minutes. Entries will be due by midnight (GMT) on December 14, 2014. The senior staff at Lumos will blindly judge all correct entries and select a winner. The winner will be announced on December 15th and will receive a copy of The Silkworm, signed by J.K. Rowling and Robert Galbraith.
Please contribute generously for the fantastic opportunity to win this very exclusive and rare perk!
For more on the fundraiser, head right
here, and do donate as soon as you can (as SnitchSeeker happily have, as well). There are countless items from which to purchase - including autographed photos from the cast of the
Harry Potter films - and all
proceeds will go to help the new educational facility. Full details on where the money can be read here and on the fundraiser

We are building a Special Education Unit in Ialoveni, a small district just south of Moldova’s capital city, Chisinau. The Unit will be attached to the local mainstream school and will enable children with severe and complex physical and learning disabilities to attend the school for the first time in their lives. They will be educated alongside all the other children, and will have the opportunity to get to know them and play with them.
In addition to constructing and furnishing the unit, Lumos will train teachers and specialist support staff to ensure that the children receive high quality education and all the care and support that they need. We’ll also purchase necessary special equipment such as adapted minibuses, wheelchairs, adapted desks and chairs, sports equipment, toys and much more.
