| | "I Wanna Be a Wizard" sweepstakes to win a walk-on-role in GoF opens today!
Kids WB has opened up registrations for their new "I Wanna Be a Wizard" sweepstakes. The grand prize winner receives a trip to London and a walk-on role in Goblet of Fire. 500 first prize winners get free POA DVD.
The website says to watch Kids WB Monday through Saturday and look for the "Daily Wizard Wannabe". When you've spotted it, log on here to enter the contest. Unfortunately, it is only open to kids aged 7-14.

Hey, my brother could enter that. But I don't think I'm going to sit there and watch kids WB for a long time. I can't stand it when they watch Spongebob, let alone a whole channel with kids cartoons.
The age thing is also kind of stupid. 7-14? I think that's only because it's a contest on kids WB. Good thing there's other contest for older kids.

I don't see how a 7 year old could walk around Hogwarts convincingly but maybe it's for apart at the QWC.

if you read the rules you need your parents permission (like an email or whatever) or else you get disqualified and they dont count your submission. when i saw that i told my dad he had to respond to the email and it took him to some site that had this purple background i think (wasnt next to him at the comp) and he asked me stuff like my email etc ..

Do you think the walk-on-role includes some dialog ? or just someone in the background ?

| Guest | There is no dialoge for the walk-on role all you do is appear in the background, it tells all about it in the official rules. And all you people its that age because its Kids WB, they're not gunna have some 18 year old win a KIDS WB sweepstakes (sorry but its true)but i still think 7 is a little too young... |

Me too. If a 7 year old wins they cant possibly be a Hogwarts extra because kids who start there are 10/11. So I'd imagine they'd have them in a QWC scene.

In case anyone wants to enter, the name for Saturday is 'Dojo'.... and you have till Monday at Midnight to enter online. They say you can enter every hour. Oh, and by the way, the age limit is 8 - 14, not 7! You can also enter by mail if you want.

This contest is for US citizens!!!! It's a 'Walk-on' role, not a part. Basically, you would be in the background with no lines to speak. They have done this before, and it is just about the only way to be in a Harry Potter movie and be a US citizen.
