| | |  HP is Among the Top '25 Movie Franchises of All Time'
The Harry Potter films have been placed among the top 25 movie franchises of all time by IGN Movies, coming in at #14! IGN has been counting down from number 25 and revealing a new franchise each day. Qualifications to make the list included: Quote:
First, the franchise had to have at least three films released at the time we created our list.

Also factored in were the franchises' commercial and artistic successes, as well as their impact on pop culture and how many ancillary items they spawned (videogames, comics, fast food tie-ins, etc.).
The Harry Potter series, today's featured franchise, came in as the #14 top franchise of all time!  Quote:

They have some awesome movies listed. And to think, the only ones I could think of were HP, Star Wars, and LotR. *sigh* I tend to forget about the older ones (And I love Die Hard and Lethal Weapon. *sigh*)
