Heyman: GoF will be a thriller! - Summary:
SCiFI Wire has interviewed the principal producer of the Potter series, David Heyman. Article: Heyman: GoF will be a thriller!
SciFi Wire recently spoke to David Heyman who, in the interview, expresses a great amount of excitement when speaking of the next project, Goblet of Fire and judges that the Potter franchise is still alive and strong as ever, judging by the amount of fans that turned up for the PoA Premiere this week in NY. Quote: "It's hard to tell, but in terms of the books, the books are selling every bit as well" as ever, he said in an interview. "The fifth book [Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix] did incredibly well. I think that it sold 12 million copies in the U.S. in the first couple of weeks, the first two weeks." Quote: "Judging by the response outside of Radio City Music Hall, it was alive and well," Heyman said. "It was amazing. So it's hard to tell. I hope that it's alive and well. I think that it is. You see and hear the enthusiasm from friends second hand and third hand. I see the response of the fans in the street [at the premiere], and so it seems pretty good." Quote: "Well, there's a lot involved. I look forward to the 'three tasks,' and I'm particularly looking forward to the 'unexpected task.' I think that this is a film where boys and girls begin to interact in a much more concrete way. I'm looking forward to seeing that come to life. I think that it'll be a really funny film. I think that it'll also work as a thriller, because it is a thriller. And Lord Voldemort is back." To read the rest of the article, visit SciFi Wire

^ GOF will be really exciting, I can't wait until the end when Voldy comes back, and the duel when his parents come out the wand, that will be really emotional I bet, Great viewing! |

Ok, so I'm confused? They're going to have to start the movie the end of this year, 2004, and not the end of next year, 2005, because its release date is Nov 2005. Correct?

this is what i like hearing - that GoF's going to be a thriller and not a boring kid's movie; but the book's a real thriller, so the movie had to be one.

I Love hearing news about the fourth movie!!! Quote: \"Well, there's a lot involved. I look forward to the 'three tasks,' and I'm particularly looking forward to the 'unexpected task.' Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |
