| | |  Helen McCrory talks Narcissa Malfoy in Half-Blood Prince
Actress Helen McCrory, who will be playing Narcissa Malfoy in Half-Blood Prince, recently participated in a radio interview with BBC4 about her character and co-stars in the movie. Harry Potter's Page was kind enough to give a brief synopsis of what she had to say about her wand, and working with Helena Bonham-Carter and Alan Rickman: Quote:
In the interview, she said she had a fantastic time filming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She said that she doesn't get to fly, but that she does have a wand. She said the wands are very interesting, as they're brought to her in a box, she uses it, and then she must put the wand back in the box. The box is then put into a safe. She said the costumes are fantastic, rather a 50s style. She said she enjoyed working with the other Harry Potter actors, including Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) and Alan Rickman (Snape), whom she called very 'laid back'.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will make its way into theatres November 21, 2008.  | |

I'm not that keen on Helen McCrory playing Narcissa. Not that I've seen her act, she just isn't how I pictured Narcissa. I suppose though once she has the costume, etc she might look the part. | |

Well... Helen's attractive enough, I suppose. But just like Helena Bonham Carter, I'll have to see her in character first. (I thought Helena was too attractive to play Bella, until I saw her in character.)
