Post HBP to arrive on July 16th
There had been concerns that copies of 'Half-Blood Prince' would arrive as late as July 23rd for those fans who ordered copies from Amazon.

It has now been announced that all copies of the sixth book will arrive on July 16th for no extra charge.

The book will be delivered via United Parcel Service Inc. and the U.S. Postal Service. The company will refund customers in the continental U.S. who don't receive the book on time.

However, some restrictions do apply.

The same announcement also applies to Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ca.

i will order mine in about a week.. when i go to visit my sis i'm sure shell convince mom.. i hope it get here on time because i'm thinking of buying it from amazon.com.. well anyways, if i get get it late at least i get the refund

I'm glad everyone will be getting it on time, but I hate restrictions. They should've told us sooner because now since I picked that Free Super Shipping thing I'll be getting it after the release date. I hope they make a mistake and send it on the 16th lol. Well whenever it comes I just hope it does.

^ LoL! If only I knew about the FREE Super Saving shipping, I would have chosen the standard delivery!!! Yeah, I hope they ship everything at the same time, regardless of delivery options... haha

I pre-ordered OOTP this way (through Amazon) and I always use the free super saver shipping and I still got my book The Day it came out. Maybe I was lucky, not sure. It came in a box that read in big letters to the Post office: "Do not deliver before ***** Harry Potter" (forgot the date now).

I'm not sure if I will pre-order mine. When the last book came out, I really wanted to pre-order it online but I wasn't sure if it would come on the day it was released. I found that there was really no need to buy mine in advance because there were plenty left at the bookstore when I went that day.
