| | HBP knocked off the top spot
' Half-Blood Prince' has been knocked off the top spot at Amazon by Christopher Paolini's ' Eldest' (he also wrote the record-breaking book 'Eragon'). Quote:
"At least I'm young enough to get through the trilogy before I die," Paolini, now 21, told Reuters. He still lives with his parents in Montana, where he writes seven days a week.
Paolini's parents self-published Eragon and took him on a tour of schools, where he dressed up in medieval costume to promote the book. Eragon caught the eye of publishing giant Random House, and filming has just started in Hungary on a movie of the book, with a cast that includes Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich.

Am i the only one so far that is glad he has made the top spot?!? How long has Half Blood Prince been at the top spot?! Ive def lost count!
Look how much JK could have made on book 6. Even the Order of the Phoenix broke all records and shes broken them again with HBP! Isnt that enough. I say ley someone else get a bestseller. Hes 21 afterall! You dont see JK dressed in wizarding robes promoting the books!
CONGRATS ON YOUR SUCCESS!!! WELL DONE! May your succesess continue coming!!

Hogwarts RPG Name: Margaret Jacqueline Atkinson Morris Fifth Year | Potter’s Princess A+ FangGirl I read that yesterday on Shurtugal. Fan website of Eragon. I'm shocked. Really really shocked. Congrats to CP... I still can't believe it. I haven't read Eldest yet (I want to but I'm waiting for the Portuguese version) but I'm sure HBP is waaaaay better! JK IS THE BEST!

We all know that book 7 will smash the record books anyway, so let all the others get they're books out now and then no 7 can stay for even longer!! |

I've read Eragon and I just remembered yesterday that Eldest is supposed to come out in August. I have been excited for it to come, but obviously not as excited as for HBP cuz I didn't know the exact date and didn't remember it until now >.< Eragon, in my opinion, is a lot more adult-ish than HP. HP is still my number one of course!

OMG!!! I didn't even know Eldest was out!!!! I read Eragon..it was a good book but I wouldn't say it's for all ages.... it's more like teenagers and adults...

Yes, it was going to happen in the natural course of things. And I've heard some wonderful things about the Eragon trilogy.

In my opinion (just look at my name lol) Eragon was the best book I ever read, and the third harry potter book falls just short. I think, however, when I'm done reading Eldest, I'll have a new 1st or 2nd favorite. HBP falls in third until I read Eldest.
