Harry Potter - Daniel Radcliffe ... Ron Weasley - Rupert Grint ... Hermione Granger - Emma Waston. They're all characters played by normal teenage people. And normal teenagers get acne, don't they? Well, obviously Harry Potter's technical team doesn't think so - they edit the scenes to block out the acne!
A few quotes were made: Quote:

Yeah,I guess I never thought of that..that IS kind of weird..I mean,I'd be offended if my skin had to be fixed,even though I DO have acne,seems like it'd be a bit of a slap in the face..I mean,the characters are supposed to be realistic,right? =/

Hmmm....I wonder. I really do wonder. I don't like acne. I mean, who does? It just wants to make you cover your face. If the actors/actresses are having trouble, well, I can't blame them, can I?

Well,it'd be more realistic,they deal with some normal issues us teenagers deal with,so why not have to deal with acne ?

How does she not know it's doctored? She's seen him in real life hasn't she? Shouldn't just watching the movies be a dead giveaway he's been fixed to look okay? Anyway, I don't want to be distracted by excessive pimples on screen so I don't mind that they erase them. I prefer it.

I feel better knowing that actors and actresses do have acne! I always see their perfect skin and I sometimes feel so bad and jealous because I don't have skin like theirs!

yeah, I heard about that from the fourth movie and how they had some bad acne and did a lot of retouching in certain scenes 
No surprise (to me of course  ). Pretty much every teen comes across at least one pimple or blackhead or whatever in their lifetime - young adult (or even in the middle of your life - my 46 year old mom found a pimple on her face after she changed face creams) or teen (more common)

yeah,well i wondered....................wish i too had a computer removing the rare n occasional acne i have!but i guess i'm luckier than most people,as i don't hav so many acne or zits anyway!

So? Normal teenagers cannot make the brooms fly either. If people would  read the books, they´d know there´s bad acne probs (Eloise Midgen) also in the HP world. But they can be obviously cured by correct use of bubotuber pus I guess people would be disgusted to see giant pimples on the screen. Does everything have to be so natural? The movies are about Magic! People can dream about pimpleless face - if they remember to - between dreaming of being able to do magic and marrying Rupert Grint or David Tennant
