Several
Harry Potter and
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actors headed to the 2016 BAFTA film awards on Sunday evening, which is taking place at the Royal Opera House in London.
Harry Potter alum and BAFTA nominees Dame Maggie Smith (
The Lady in the Van) and Julie Walters (supporting actress nominee for
Brooklyn) were there alongside Domhnall Gleeson; while
Fantastic Beasts' star and current nominee Eddie Redmayne, and his costar Gemma Chan, attended the show.
The 2016 EE British Academy Film Awards are currently underway, and a pre-recorded version will air on BBC One in the UK at 9pm GMT; and in the U.S. on BBC America beginning at 7:30pm EST Sunday.
UPDATE: Just a quick note that unfortunately Eddie Redmayne, Maggie Smith and Julie Walters did not win at tonight's BAFTAs.
