Post Harry Potter entire film series available on unlimited demand on Sky Movies Greats

Sky Movies announced that its Greats channel will be renamed Sky Movies Harry Potter on the Sky TV Guide from Saturday 24 October until Monday 2 November to commemorate the entire eight film series being available on demand on the UK network. More on that can be read below.

From the 24 October Sky Movies, the home of the latest blockbusters and classic films, will for an exclusive period offer the entire Harry Potter movie collection on demand – letting customers dive into the magic whenever and wherever they want.

To celebrate Harry Potter coming to Sky Movies, from Saturday 24 October until Monday 2 November, Sky Movies Greats will be renamed Sky Movies Harry Potter on the Sky TV Guide. During the event fans can join the movie marathon by tweeting @skymovies using the hashtag #pottermarathon. The movie collection will also be available on demand from the 24 October onwards, as Sky Movies is the exclusive home over the next year.

Gearing up for the half term, Sky Movies will have all eight feature films available on demand and through online streaming service NOW TV to enjoy whenever they fancy. Harry, Ron and Hermione are reunited as we watch the story unfold from the very beginning, following Harry on his first day as he is sorted into Gryffindor through to the final showdown with Lord Voldemort in Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Sky Movies will also show never before seen on UK TV extended versions of Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets, plus behind the scenes specials of the much loved movie franchise.

Ian Lewis, Director of Sky Movies said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring the wizarding world of Harry Potter to our customers, all in one place so they can enjoy the magic of this timeless story whenever and wherever it suits them”

Sky Movies is the UK’s most popular movie service with over 1,000 films available on demand for customers to watch whenever and wherever. The Harry Potter movie collection is part of Sky Movies multi-year agreement with Warner Bros., meaning Sky Movies’ customers are the first to watch current Warner Bros. movies at least one year before other subscription services.

The movies will be available to watch on Sky Movies through magical milestones next year including the arrival of the first ever theatre production, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child which will receive its world premiere in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in the summer of 2016.

The entire Harry Potter movie collection will be available on demand from 24 October onwards and will also be available to watch for NOW TV customers with the Sky Movies Month Pass.
