| | |  Harry Potter e-book series to be available at 18,000+ libraries when Pottermore opens
OverDrive, Inc. announced that it will be releasing all seven Harry Potter books on e-book format, via Pottermore, in over 20 languages at more than 18,000 libraries, as soon as the Harry Potter interactive site is open to the public. More on that can be read in the press release below.  Pottermore, home of the Harry Potter ebooks created by J.K. Rowling and partnered by Sony, entered a distribution agreement with OverDrive, Inc. OverDrive will exclusively host the Harry Potter ebook and digital audiobook collection for its global network of more than 18,000 public and school libraries.
The ebooks and digital audiobooks will be available initially in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish (Castilian), with more languages to follow. OverDrive will make the Harry Potter series accessible via e-readers, tablets, Mac and PC computers, and smartphones. The digital audiobooks will be made available as MP3s so users can listen on their computer, smartphone, or iPod. A list of participating libraries and schools in the OverDrive network is available at http://search.overdrive.com.

Sounds good  i jsut wonder why nothing has happened between when the site opened to beta users and now because i finished S.S/P.S and there has been no updates or anything about C.O.S getting added on for the users who are using the site to try out...  x

Do you know what happened to the deal with Sony? They were producing an eReader (in conjunction with Pottermore) and the last Harry Potter book would be on the reader free? I've been anticipating this purchase since it was announced.

I'm sure that Pottermore doesn't have the same activity as it did when it first opened, so they should just finish up whatever they are doing and start letting people in. I want CoS already!!

No matter how much I love HP websites Pottermore just got me to a bore a little. I'll get on maybe 2-4 times a month? Me and my best friend just duel each other over and over again. I want CoS though!
