The Leaky Cauldron have reported that a HP fan, Emily, is doing a study on the characterisation of the Potter characters in the films.

She has set up an online survey to help her in doing this and will share the results as soon as she can.

The survey can be taken here - you must be at least 13 and you can only take it once.

It asks you about the portrayal of Ron, Harry and Hermione in the films amongst other things to do with the influences the films have on people who don't necessarily know or see the characters as we know/see them.

I just did it, it was nice to write down all my opinions about both the books and the films and how they compare.

I'm definately going to take this, the script is good, but characterisation is terrible. I'm glad someone is doing a survey!

I just did it myself also. It really made me think about my opinions about the characters in the books and movies. I havent really sat down and thought about that before.
