Harry Potter cast discuss characters lives 19 years between Deathly Hallows, epilogue
While promoting this month's opening of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter's Forbidden Forest expansion, James and Oliver Phelps, Evanna Lynch, and Jason Isaacs shed some light to SnitchSeeker exclusively on where they though their characters were during that 19 years between the end of the Battle of Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and the epilogue thereafter.
Isaacs noted to SnitchSeeker correspondents Charmaine and Dylan that his character Lucius Malfoy, destroyed from the battle, would sit about miserably at Malfoy Manor and drink himself silly, while his wife and son moved on from him.
Evanna - remembering J.K. Rowling stating Luna Lovegood became a Naturalist and combed the world for magical creatures with her husband Rolf Scamander - noted that she hoped Luna would eventually go and find the Crumple-Horned Snorkack one day, just to rub it in Hermione Granger's face.
Oliver Phelps - and not James, unfortunately, as Fred Weasley died - said George would go on to be successful with Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, and possibly even open up a new branch. He would of course, as Oliver noted, be married with a family - which is true; Rowling confirmed George married Angelina Johnson and had two children, Fred and Roxanne.
Much more to come from SnitchSeeker's chat with the four actors' promotion of the Forbidden Forest expansion - including what they thought of their initial tour of the area and how it compared to the sets in the Harry Potter movies - in the coming days.
