Harry Potter and elements related has been nominated in three awards shows which will be aired in the next three weeks.

The first event takes place in the
US, New York, on Friday the 24th of September 2004. These are the second annual
Relly awards (Regis & Kelly) for which
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter actor) has been nominated in the Junior Achiever Category. He won last years award and fans worldwide voted for him last Wednesday. The show will be broadcast on
ABC and will commence at 9.00am.
The next show takes place in
Australia, on Saturday the 25th of September 2004. These are the
Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for which Harry Potter was nominated in the
best film, best book, best video game and best movie hero categories. This show will be broadcast
on Nickelodeon at 6.00pm.
The last show takes place in
Manchester, in the UK, on Wednesday the 29th 2004. These are the
Celebrity Awards 2004 and the three main young leads in the Potter films are all nominated in the Young Celebrity of the Year category (
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint). But, alas, only one person can walk away with the prize and there are people nominated in the category other than them. This awards show will be broadcast
on ITV1 at 8.00pm.
Please note:
Just because certain actors have nominations does not mean that they are obliged to be there. Remember, the cast and crew are currently very busy filming for Goblet of Fire so they most likely wont attend any of the ceremonies, with the possible exception for the show that takes place in the UK.
