Warner Home Video has announced that it will be releasing special multi-disc Blu-ray sets of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2 in 3D this October 16, 2012 in the United States. Do note that the sets were once sold last year, but only through retailer Best Buy, and will now be available through all Blu-ray selling venues.

Warner Bros. has NOT indicated that these are the Ultimate Editions, as they have no new extra features from those already available in the 2D sets of the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2 Blu-ray combo packs released in April and November 2011, respectively. The only difference between these and the previous sets is that they will contain 3D versions of the final two films.
