| | Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - What did you think?
As the famous tagline says, 'It All Ends.' But not for die-hard Harry Potter fans.
The SnitchSeeker news team invites all members of the site, and fans from around the world, to partake in a discussion right here about the finale of the incredible Harry Potter saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, set to hit theatres on Friday, July 15, 2011, in most countries.
Several nations released the final film as early as Wednesday, so we again invite everyone to discuss their favourite parts of the final film, what they'll miss the most, what broke their hearts and made them laugh out loud. Come one and all, and celebrate the end of the Harry Potter film series right here.
Yes, spoilers are allowed in the comments, for those who have seen it. Members are allowed to ask one another questions about the finale, and the series as a whole if they so choose to. This is an open discussion on the finale, once again, and of course, all site and forums rules apply.
Everyone sitting and waiting for midnight shows tonight - have fun, and don't forget to bring some tissues! We hope you enjoy the movie; the news staff has seen the film, and will agree with Daniel Radcliffe when we say it is the best of the franchise by far.
So, without further ado... Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - What did you think?!
One last note: rest assured that this is hardly the end of the Harry Potter fandom, and hardly the end of SnitchSeeker. It is indeed another chapter closed in the fandom (the first being four years ago with the release of the seventh book), but there is so much more to come. From Pottermore to Harry Potter: the Exhibition and the Harry Potter Leavesden Tours in the UK, Harry Potter will live on forever. We hope you stick with us for the entire ride. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Lily Beck First Year | it was phenominal and i loved snape! i thought the music was brilliant and i bought the cd...but i thought that they left a bit too much out like when harry goes to dumbledore's office and talks to all the headmasters portraits and when he repaired his wand with the elder wand, and i also wish the final battle was strictly loyal to the book and i wish that harry remained invisible until casting protego to defend mrs weasley and then throw off the cloak rather than how he just jumped out of hagrids arms in the film. |

One of the best of the lot, after Half-Blood Prince and Prisoner of Azkaban. It was the only one that had me crying several times. Definitely an amazing way to end the film phenomenon!!!

I LOVED it!!!
I really loved how they portaited Snape's Memories....Though...I really didn't see Little Severus like that when he first met lily or when he started Hogwarts....
Lily was soooooo cuteeee <3
I LOVED the final battle, i thought the whole thing was fab....
Though...Harry Potter has been apart my child hood.....And most of who i am is down to the messages the HP series sent out....and i can relate to most of the characters too...
I really am going to miss it.....
But...
At least we Have...
POTTERMORE!!

The film had everyone in the theater actually weeping, I agree little Severus was an interesting character but I feel little lily could have been more developed

I thought it was a fantastic end to the series. I agree that The Prince's Tale was great, as was the Kings Cross scene - they were too of my favourites from the book, so I was glad they lived up to expectations. I really want to read the book again now. Or even the whole entire series. |

^ Not that I haven't read them enough times already.
I also loved the final battle - the bit when they were securing the school was awesome! And I did laugh at Mcgonagall's "I've always wanted to use that spell!" And I don't care if other people didn't, I really liked the ending, both in the book and the film. Yes, it was cheesy - but it was totally what those characters would have done.
(sorry for the double post, I thought of more I wanted to say... )

The angles are all skewed, you can't see their faces! It's like he's embarrassed to show them doing it for Pete's sake.

I've watch this movie twice, and now I'm planning to buy the original DVD, because this movie was epic. The storyline, the acting, the background, it's amazing. I love the epilogue, there's a lot of unmentioned stories hidden there |

But, of course, I'm sure the scene I disliked will have alternates on the DVD special features. I can't wait for it!

I thought it was brilliant but I wish they did Freds death the same way they did in the book.

It has been said many times that J K Rowling pulled Alan Rickman aside in the first movie and told him something, something no one but JKR knew.
I think she told him he had grown up with and loved Lily Evans Potter. I think that is all that would have been needed. Every time he looked at Harry he saw James, whom he hated and Lily whom he loved.
Anybody thinking the same thing?
