'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child's 3 productions tease previews, castings & shows
A new look at the three productions of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was released during Saturday evening's A Celebration of Harry Potter tribute at Universal Orlando Resort, which can be watched below.
The footage began with the London team, from stars Jamie Glover (Harry Potter), Tom Aldridge (Ron Weasley), and Rakie Ayola (Hermione Granger), who announced that Saturday would mark the 672th performance of the show in the West End.
Continuing on, Jamie Parker - the Olivier Award-winning actor who starred in the Palace Theatre's Cursed Child when it began in 2016 - gave a small preview of the show's rehearsals from the Lyric Theatre in New York City, where Cursed Child will begin previews in March, and debut on Broadway April 22, 2018.
Finally, director Paul Tiffany shared a teaser of the third home of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Melbourne, Australia's Princess Theatre, and also revealed that casting was nearly complete for the show down under, which opens in early 2019.
